It's probably not important, but you come to TDF with a heightened sense of everything, physical, mental, best support, equipment, complete focus and for Jorgenson and others to stray, even momentarily down a rabbit hole is \_was A distraction that they couldn't afford. Visma is proving again you can do 95,96 things out of a hundred correct but the smallest details can trip you up.I never believed Jorgensen's claims that he had to pay for his own altitude camps and all the bits and pieces when he was at the Movistar. I don't dispute that Movistar would not offer the same silver service as Jumbo but I find it hard to believe that movistar paid for nothing.

I think he was just taking the piss tbf, but wouldn't rule it out he had no clue. Its Julian Alaphilippe after all, isnt it?Alaphilippe channelling his inner Danilo Hondo at the 2010 Giro, who celebrated his 3rd place on stage 6 - not only after Matthew Lloyd had long since won the stage over a minute earlier, but only a couple of seconds behind Rubens Bertogliati who had been in a two-up break with Lloyd and rolled across the line right in front of Hondo...
