So does the van Aert group have a chance to come back or this over? Trying to decide if I go out for a ride now.

You heard me, it didn't decide but rather influenced it. Lots of riders in the front groups were not that the front peloton

I counted 4 riders who worked through the group who eventually made the front split and two of them are in the leading four. Its an unsatisfying stage in my eyes.

I don’t want everyone to have the same opinion as me. However can you agree that having nobody go against Pogacar would be rather boring? That’s basically what’s happening now, so when one speaks out everybody starts whining.
But why should riders go against Pogacar? What did he do? Whining about the bottle incident?
It was notorious, Visma tried to annoy him by playing mind games because they know they can't beat him on sheer power.
What do you think about their hypocritical behaviour? They complained about the speed on descents (specially that crash who almost ended Vingegaard's career) and then Matteo is riding like crazy on a descent in a prep race (14 months later in the Dauphine).
Are they really worried about safety? I don't think so.

Well that I agree with, its too bad that the break formation wasn't more 'clear', but Im pretty sure the strongest guys are up front

Pogacar has seemingly a source of entitlement(mostly earned), and even when he’s in the wrong(the bottle incident), there’s nothing because people don’t want to be on their blacklist.

That’s clearly your opinion. Some people agree with you, others don’t.
For me it's clear, Visma tries unconventional ways to irritate Pogacar. They try to mess with his mind since they can't mess with his legs.
It's okay but they can't act like they are saints.

Schmid is struggling with some achilles tendon pain anyway, so it probably didn't make much of a difference for your guys

Jorgenson made some horrible statements against Pogacar last year after Isola.

But we must defend Jorgenson, who threw *** at a fellow professional.

Visma was also chasing Pogacar on the Paris stage. He was seven minutes behind. But Jorgenson's situation is due to those crappy statements, even though Pogacar had never said or done anything against him at that moment

Jorgenson is a guy who trashed Movistar in an interview after he left. But he's a victim.
