He made it to the breakaway without spending too muchBora telling Rog to knock it off as UAE are pulling ???
As in, don't go all out and waste a load of energy for nothing, they're not telling him to drop back. Right call from Bora as otherwise you burn Roglic 130km out for no gain, given the size of the front group he can just sit on until the situation is more favourable anywayBora telling Rog to knock it off as UAE are pulling ???
The aim should be to have Roglic survive the Vingegaard/Pogacar onslaught on the Madeleine, that should be the finish line for like 85% of the peloton today. As in, don't go all out and waste a load of energy for nothing, they're not telling him to drop back. I don't understand why EF haven't been putting Healy up the road on days like this, surely much better to be with Gall and Roglic than with Jonas and Tadej
Van Aert is not in the break.Jorgenson & Van Aert in the breakaway. Two best powerhorses Vingo would need on the false flat/shallow climb. UAE needs to keep them close, then they wont survive Madeleine ahead.
Politt is probably pacing to the bottom of Madeleine and will lose 3-4 minutes on Glandon and even more in the ValleyFeels like too short a leash, if they catch Wellens too early he won't be of any use.
