I think UAE can be happy with the situation. Roglic and Gall aren't Pogacar's problem. Only Jorgensson as a potential satellite rider for Visma. And as high as the pace is he would be caught before the top of Madeleine if Visma and VIngegaard go for it.
Visma having numbers in the peleton isn't hurting Pogacar. The real danger would have been multiple teammates of Vingegaard making it over the top of Madeleine.

An attack of Vingegaard at the Madeleine only makes sense, when he can use Jorgenson as Satellite rider. Important will be, if Wellens will also still be in front of Vingegaard and Pogacar at the top of the Madeleine...

Gall won't have Mühlberger forever, there is quite a bit of valley before Loze, right now this is an absolute unproblematic gap for UAE when it comes to the stage win.
I think the main reason why Gall is upfront is because they're anticipating Vingegaard to attack on Madeleine and they want to be ahead to hop onto the Vingegaard Pogacar train so that they will drag them away from the other GC contenders before Loze. And it's actually a pretty good idea, if that happens he can take minutes on the likes of Vaquelin or Onley.
