Big losers today:
1. Gall
2. Red Bull (could have easily been 3/4 in GC but inexplicably end up losing time to Onley)
3. Visma (in hindsight it would have made little difference but still a tactical failure)

Big winners:
1. O'Connor
2. Onley
3. Pogacar (Tour wrapped up)
Gall gained a place on GC

We'll get a fun battle for 3rd to root for tomorrow

Picnic will suddenly have to show up in a BIG way - they were fine with Onley on his own for top 10 - the podium AND white jersey is a VERY different thing.

Come on Oscar show these clowns how to race
You realize he hasn't raced at all pretty much all day? Yes, staying with Vingo and Pog in the end was impressive, but he had done absolutely nothing since the Madeleine. This is what makes this sport so boring sometimes. RBH tried something and were clobbered for it, while those who soft.pedalled through the valley were rewarded.

Red Bull won't mind though. They got a truckload of screen time today.

I dont understand Bora

They had a guy with 2mins lead and yet they left him alone.....Rog is no team player , anyone else would have supported the guy on the podium

ridiculous ...they deserve to lose it to Onley who is a brilliant climber as I said at the beg of the Tour he was a podium contender

I cant think of other sports where every event is thrilling. Or even most events.

At least cycling has pretty villages and cute animals to look at.

And inflatable pretzels.

As for the stage, Vinge was not as strong as he had to be. Tour over.

Vingegaard sounds resigned in the exit interview - he says "the Tour is not over" because he has to say it, but it's not really believable.

Vingegaard has not been hit by a photographer or team car today, so there's a silver lining.

Thank god, O'Connor is no longer at AG2R or they might have tried to tackle him when he crossed the line. Fine ride by him.

Cannot believe I'm agreeing with Jens Voigt about something but I think Lipowitz should perhaps drop back to the Onley group. This looks like a sunk cost fallacy waiting to happen
Can't believe this take ended up being correct haha
