Honestly, it felt like he was either saving energy for the end of the season or just didn't have it today.
Plan was good but the people involved just looked bad.I'm not sure it was a total Rabofail, I think Vingegaard was just bad. Plan made sense, but he just looked poor.
Yes, so RBH gets white with Lipo and podium with Rog. This way...to be fair, staying with Onley could have meant losing massive time to Gall and Roglic.
Doesn't really feel necessary at this point.Who's the boss. Mind games.
Let's see if we get any numbers from the stage later. You can't say a rider has held something back just by looking at how his opponents did.Look at the guys still in this main group and tell me he's giving it his all.
Rog was never winning that stageLipo should have stayed with Onley. That is his rival. Not his teammate who tried to get a stage.
Following the plan. His season doesn't end with the Tour.Honestly, it felt like he was either saving energy for the end of the season or just didn't have it today.
He lost a lot on the last climb
Lipo is young and should have ridden for his podium and white jersey
It is a big thing and he should not have done this
Until the top of Madeleine, then it turned into bad Contador and Schleck on the Tourmalet (saved by freaking Ben O'Connor of all people).I'm gonna semiquote Horner; the result doesn't always reflect the tactics. Visma clearly tried
Pogacar and Vingo should enjoy these last placings, because Onley will destroy them next year!!!!!
Benjamin Thomas begs to differ.Great tour for anyone called Ben.
Maybe Lipo should have helped Rog in the valley.Rog was never winning that stage
Lip should ahve stayed with Onley????...no rider ever before been dropped ?? ....His team mate should have helped him on that final climb ...that is what a team does
He lost almost his whole advantage on Onley and could pay for it tomorrow.Overall he lost like 3:20 min on the climb. After the effort he put in and probably over doing it by attacking after not really resting after coming back, I think he did pretty well do limit his losses on a 26,k climb.

It is little to be happy about that he showed "courage" and "limited losses", when it was completely unnecessary.
He will have to hope Onley dug really deep today or he could be in trouble tomorrow.
Tomorrow is another big day. Today is a win for Tadej anyway.
