Yes, Mathieu gave a lot today, and his legend will grow even bigger tomorrow if he puts up more than a defense. He can absolutely do it and I hope that he does. He's a lion. I hope that I don't jinx him too...
The Police w Sting version or P•Diddy version.. Sleep much much different depending on which music is playing..Was Every Breath You Take playing in the background during this segment?
Got ill before the tour, crashed in the first stage.I wonder what's been going on with Nys. I was expecting more from him.

How many teams will commit firepower to a break today? Normally I would say not many, but looking a bit ahead to the next two stages, 8 and 9, these don't seem to favor break action either. So today a break is up against GC favorites and will face a large group of sprinter teams in the weekend. Take you pick.As long as the breakaway is caught, win 101 is coming.

Despite his crash he is almost in the same league with Cian. Super overrated riders. I don't know where I was when pointed him as Pogacar's biggest rival in Mur de Huy.I wonder what's been going on with Nys. I was expecting more from him.
They let the break go then Visma probably try to drop him again. Letting the break go makes no sense if you're seriously targetting green.Mvdp absolutely tanked his chances yesterday. So much so that they're speculating in a Dutch podcast that maybe alpecin (if its in their power) should let the break go and hope he can follow pogacar to the finish line when there's no stagewin or boni's to win. That way at least he gets to wear yellow for two more days. I doubt that will happen.
I don't know what it is with him. Credits for chasing what he doesn't have yet I guess: a win in yellow.
Today's stage is easier so Van der Poel should accumulate enough energy for the final push.
After yesterday?
Not when Pogi goes bananas today... I'm sure he will try to leave everyone else in the dust on the last climb.Today's stage is easier so Van der Poel should accumulate enough energy for the final push.
MVP is an absolutely world-class rider. We are talking about a 3-4 minutes final push. The stage has way less climbing so he won't suffer so much. I guess UAE will try to soften his legs from 20 km to go though.

he was complete empty yesterday, so yes, that effects also a 3-4 minutes push.MVP is an absolutely world-class rider. We are talking about a 3-4 minutes final push. The stage has way less climbing so he won't suffer so much. I guess UAE will try to soften his legs from 20 km to go though.
Shall see. I think MVDP will lose 20-25 secs easily and it won't be even close.Pogi is #1 favourite today considering all circumstances but MVP should be a contender for victory as well.
