Almeida can still top 10 if he recovers. Can't believe I'm happy for having 2 sprints stages this weekend.
While he won't beat Pog, he will beat Remco...and he was there the entire time. I think you're seeing what you want to see, not what happened. Jonas is riding very strontly.man is Bob Roll dumb
He is saying Vingo had a good day? He nearly was dropped until Remco did his trademark Koko B. Ware impression.
So he had a good sprint, big whoop. Vingo is in trouble
If he sucked Pogi's wheel I think he has the sprint. How?
There is a reason why Dunbar has crashed so much. He'll learn next time not to tighten his shoes preparing for the finish.Wtf was that from the Jayco rider, didn't touch anything, brakes?
I'm all in for Almeida in a world of his own ignoring all team orders and Brandon Mcnultying his way to a battling 9th.Almeida can still top 10 if he recovers. Can't believe I'm happy for having 2 sprints stages this weekend.
I don't think he was in difficulty. He was just caught in bad position. I don't think Vingo had any issues today IMHO.man is Bob Roll dumb

He clearly had a day that was 100 times better than Remco‘s. Why do you think he was dropping?
He will lose time on purpose, specially on stage 10Almeida can still top 10 if he recovers. Can't believe I'm happy for having 2 sprints stages this weekend.
I think you have to keep an eye on Jorgensen. With how things are going there will be no real battle between Jonas and Pogi so they won't sacrifice him. They will try to use Yates like today and keep Matteo fresh. Remco has the problem this year that there's no Landa so when Jonas and Pogi are gone the rest will likely settle into a totally different tactical race like we normally see for the win. With no domestique there I think there is a risk that Remco gets worked over by attacks. Especially in stages where Pogi decides that he wants to end the raceing for the day early like on Col de Peyresourde .It's sad that it's for this reason, but despite the bad news for Remco, Almeida's crash pretty much secured his podium finish today.
Almeida seemed like Remco's biggest rival for the podium.
And then they got to the flat, which is the demise of Remco and Vingegaard‘s strong suit? Sorry, I just don‘t believe that.he was barely hanging on when Remco was setting the pace
Only time that happened last year was Stage 18. He was letting half a length open at times
Seems Vingo coming in heavier has helped his sprint, but maybe hurting his climbing and the reverse for Remco?
Honestly the gap at the end was too big to make me think that. I think it may just have been a case of Remco not wanting the pace to drop too much and end up in a stop-and-go type of situation. If he sucked Pogi's wheel I think he has the sprint.
Jonny Vinegar is a new one to me![]()
But doing so closely in unison. That’s teamwork! The power duo of Roglic & Lipowitz have really perfected the art of losing time on every stage. Marginalgainslosses.
Impressive skill to do it as you've got to unclip and launch yourself at the same timeThink he realised he wasn't going to stop in time, and bascially threw himself off the bike?
Meh, could have been a lot worse. Mas is a pure climber like Gall and the likes and he will be ridingfor a top-5 spot which is still realistic, altho I wouldn't bet on it. The guys he will be fighting are not doing too hot either the first week, and the most important thing is just staying healthy and then the legs will decide on the 6 MTFs.Mas started this Tour perfectly by surviving the echelons but has been atrocious since.
I’ve seen him scowl at plenty but he genuinely appreciates pogiHinault watching the GOAT from up close on the podium. Hehe
I think it was more about tiring Pogi's helpers.I assume they're trying to nullify a bit of Pogacar's punch
Will it work? Probably not, but it's also sort of the only viable strategy.
Did you watch the race in low-resolution on a phone or something? Did we watch the same race. He wasn't in any difficulty.he was barely hanging on when Remco was setting the pace
