Well, why dont you believe she is if that's the point of your question?

She inspires me
Lol. The point of my question was to ask, because I have no idea what she is like. In other words, there's no hidden meaning, so perhaps you did not understand fully?

The SD Jerx strategy of racing/complaining a lot does not help one form a positive view, but I am cognizant that team tactics and PR does not a person or ambassador make.

But the way your question is raised suggests she isn't worthy, so all I'm asking is where is your opinion at this moment?

I haven't got one yet.

The tactics seemed a bit weird, and given how strong she obviously was, it seemed a bit Cat 3/b level racing to not ride.

I think SD team tactics are s***, and I'm not a big fan of the way vdB and Stam have recently dealt with things in the media. Vollering also would have been aware of her car drafting debacle the other day, so pleading ignorance was a bit of a stretch. But I don't make opinions too quickly on what I see from a few minutes of TV if I don't know a rider.

The SDWorx tactics for this race were all about the Tourmalet, race the parcours in front of you, don't expend effort when you don't need to

Does anybody know the climbing time of Vollering up the Tourmalet?
I'm curious if that's a QOM time.
It seems Vollering did beat Illi Gardner's Strava QOM time, but she may have been the only one who managed it. However Antoine Vayer is claiming that they did it faster in the 2000 Grande Boucle Féminine.

Ouch! Maybe he could beat Fabio Jakobsen in a mountain stage

Great win by Vollering. Nothing could be done about it. Although, Niewiadoma might have finished a little closer if she hadn't done the long solo... but you have to try, of course.

I get the feeling a lot of people on this forum are really obsessed with likeability. It's not a popularity contest, it's a sport. Yara Kastelijn is annoying as hell, a kind of female Thomas Voeckler, but she wins a stage and she does so in convincing fashion. Vollering can be a bit grumpy and full of adrenaline, but apparently that fuels her for some great performances so who cares.
Just curious as to why Kastelijn is annoying like Voeckler? I would know her better from cyclo-cross and what little I do know, she seems like a pretty likeable character. Dont think she has been prominent enough on the road for comparisons to Voeckler.

AVV and team tactics seemed strange to me. Why go so early, lose all your team mates and drag your competitors up the first climb?
Overconfidence. She's done long range attacks and they normally work for her. The bit that was annoying was the mind games with Vollering on the descent - I have no idea what AVV was thinking of when she kept slowing down, Making life easy for your rivals strong teammates to catch up with you both is a blunder.

Or alternatively AVV knew she could not match DV in a 20min supra threshold effort, so she tried to make the race about endurance by going longer as a defensive move. But could be overconfidence just as well.

Either way, DV was just unstoppable yesterday. Thought Kasia would pay for her long range move but she rode really well too.

Has anyone other than lanterne rouge calculated w/kg yet?

Apropos, will Demi stomp the others today too, or can someone else (like Reusser) take the stage?

In th GC, AVV needs a bit less than 2sec/km and Kopecky needs about 2sec/km on Niewiadoma to beat her. Could be doable, so the ultimate heartbreak for Kasia is possible.

Don't feel it to be the ultimate heartbreak, but that's primarily as supporting Kasia with her riding style and skillset has a tendency to put you through the wringer at any and all times.
