Pauliena Rooijakkers for many years was the women's péloton's answer to David Moncoutié. She usually only has two positions in the bunch: right at the back or off the front. She would always drop time in splits and things as a result. She only comes into her element on the climbs, her skillset is: she can climb.
Kasia is a great descender, and will need every single second she can get to have a chance even of hanging on to the podium at this rate, Gigante and Muzic seem to be leaving her behind now too.
Edit: Lucinda Brand might be an interesting ally. She's very good technically, and she can probably be a great help to Realini. She's a very underrated climber because, unexpectedly for a crosser, she's not very explosive or punchy at all, but she has done some really good Giro GCs before because when the diesel gets warmed up she can climb among the best, or at least used to be able to before she focused less on the road.
