You posted a tweet by a pro and so i posted a tweet by another pro. What was ridiculous about it, sunshine?
Me just thinks it is OPQS, but hey.

Too much people with emotional ties invested to look at it with an open mind. Next time when Ferrari does a Ferrari pleaso do not complain.

It was quite a miracle no one else took a fall.

Are you including yourself in that, what with you being from the same country as the rider who hit the deck?

The crash was Veelers' fault. Race jury agrees.

Crashes sometimes happen in sprints. This was a racing incident, nothing more, nothing less. Why does someone always have to be at fault?

Well said. The phrase racing incident sounds a bit freakish, though it avoids the requirement to put a blame on someone.

again a storm in a teacup for christ sake. stuff like this can happen in a sprint. i even think that it was veeler's mistake and not cav's...maybe 70%-30%...

by the way really nice sprint by kittel, didn't expect to beat the gorilla. and thanks god nobody crashed into veelers

"If and only if I'm at fault, I apologize" <= what a jerk!

The only jerk around here is you with your anti-Brit bile spewing.

Watch Veelers' line, two feet left of the line then two feet right of it. Veelers totally at fault.

Meh, not much in it really, coming together caused by Cav but no more than a racing incident.

Congrats to Kittel though, two stage wins is one more than I had him down for.

I'm entitled to my own opinion. I've watched ad nauseum, and every time I do, Cav becomes even more of a jerk. Notice I'm not calling you such a thing.

Why would he apologise is he wasn't at fault?
He did, or at least he thought he did.

I am sorry to dissappoint you but I have no emotional investment with Dutch cycling whatsoever.

Race jury seems full of morons, but whats new there.

Cavendish relegated and out of the green jersey competition - bad for the tour. Tom Veelers on the ground - who cares? Who the **** is Tom Veelers? Make it Veelers fault.

Swap the two riders in the incident - the whole world would crucify Veelers.

Remember Tour de Suisse a few years ago were Cavendish took out Haeussler?
Deja vue.

Cavendish is a very bad looser. The moment he went around Veelers on the right both Greipel and Kittle took of on the left. He needed to get on their wheel
or loose the race. Veelers was in the way. Bad luck. But no reason to knock him
over at 65 km/h.

Cav is only such a charmer because he wins. If he looses you see the
real psycho coming out. Man, so many used to love good old Psycho Armstrong.

Watch Cav's face in the replay after the crash: Guilt, guilt, guilt.

Can't believe people blame Veelers for this. ****ing joke.

+1 although you're in danger of being called jerk for stating the truth.

How about those of us that don't complain about Ferrari, Cav, Greipel nor Bouhanni.

Those are the best netserk, you should know that by now. KamiCav should sprint without a helmet like Abdu when he wants to play rough.

But, I agree with Iharm, Kenny van Hummel has spoken, nuff said.

I seriously doubt Cav would survive a Tour if he competed against Abdou. And Cav doesn't give up easily.

Quoted for truth.

Cav can be a 1-class ****er.

Looked like a bit of a Cav eff up all round to me. Didn't follow Steergermans for some strange reason, then was badly positioned. Chose to follow Sagan and got it wrong again. Just faffed around throughout the final 500. Don't really see how he can blame his team. Perhaps the heat is getting to him?

Absolutely loved seeing Stannard seemingly back on form. Protecting Froome on his own up to the last K. If he can keep that up, then this could be a much needed recovery week for the rest of the Sky team

As others said, while rough it may look like, that contact was normal business in sprints. Certainly Cav is quite dangerous tho...on the other hand I'm always in awe when looking at Sagan: you can throw him bikes, riders, bottles, whatever, he's like a cat, MAD SKILLZ YO.

And how about Kittel playing Sagan's game concerning the green jersey?

I mean, come on guys, this is a clear DQ for Cav, ugly maneuver I have not seen in long time
Yet some posters are trying to make out it is Veelers at fault. At a minimum Cavendish should be relegated. He doesn't show such good sportmanship when things aren't going his way.
