Millar dropped in front of Wiggins to take Cavendish to the line - what do you think they were doing?

(Farrar actually is getting better after his horrible tour, he got another top 10 so wasn't too bad by Millar)

In one of my posts earlier I said look out for Farrar. Coming back into form and could have a big say on Sunday.

Millar getting some practice in for next Saturday in London?

That was really funny watching LLS throw a strop when Wiggons led the peloton passed last time - did he do the same here? :D

No, but he did very much look to have mouthed the full version of "FFS" as he stopped pedalling as if someone had stuck an umbrella through his back wheel the second Cav flew by.

I admit, I am predisposed to dislike Mark Cavendish, but I have to acknowledge that was one helluva sprint. I wont be betting against him Sunday, nor a week from tomorrow.

EBH stopped working after he was back in the team car for orders. Did you watch?

And if he had been allowed to ride he would have stayed away from the chasing peloton?

Were you actually watching?

Sky did no work on the front until EBH had already been caught.
EBH completely stopped working in the breakaway after talking with the DS in the car. When the peloton came up to them, Sky was already lined up at the front while Eddy immediately lined up in front of Cav.

What do you think the DS told him, based on those events?

LOL, now I don't know which of you to believe about this. I for one admit I wasn't watching - was just listening to the commentary while doing work...

By that point though the break was less than a minute and it was obvious at that point it would not last. Although it very nearly did but that was from a fresh attack from Sanchez and Roche not the original Vino break.
