Have to say... If you're gonna pick a break to stay away, this would be one of them: Chavanel, Lloyd, Burghardt, Pineau, Taaramae, Gavazzi and two others. Wonder whether Columbia will volunteer to do most of the work again today, with the finish being what it is?

Either way, Freire FTW, although it would be nice to see this high quality break duke it out in the finale. Gavazzi FTW in that case.

Also, I'm really surprised Voeckler isn't in this.

Nice group, any one of them could solo to victory.

Its a big, strong group and once they hit the hills, the difference in effort to the riders in the peloton is not gonna be that gigantic. And for what should he rest? The cobbles tomorrow might not be that selective after all and then its 3 days of easy riding, so i don't see how Taaramae is ruining his chances for the gc today.

The descent off the stockieu is suppose to be quite dangerous as it has cobbles at the end of the descent. Good luck Gesink, schleck and menchov.

France tv went live 10 minutes ago. First thing they said was it is raining at the finish line.
A couple of minutes up on the fastest schedule. Yes, it must be the Tour....erm....

Burghardt in the break? Sorry, ACF, but that isn't good news for Cadel's GC chances. The team are hedging their bets already, which says they aren't very confident.

You might not be aware of this, but the Stockeu is a regular part of Liege-Bastogne-Liege... So I think almost everyone is familiar with it, and we'll not have too many problems.

With Taaramae being part of leader group, the Peloton is not gonna take it easy over the hills, guy is a legit top 10 contender.

Taaramae has said that in this part of his career (he just turned 23), he does not think about GC of Grand TOurs, that it is better to win a stage, than to finish 14th in GC.

Or any rider who has crashed once or twice in a descent. Basically anyone. Schleck might be the exception to the rule.
I said them because they aren't known for great descending skills or bke handling.

Split in peleton. Santambrogio and a few BMC boys have come to the front!:)

"These boys can go up these climbs at 100km/hr!"

Funny how lotto were all at the back of the peleton and they caught out! Coincidence?
