So much for the hard men of pro cycling. A crash like that and suddenly a course they've rode for years is too dangerous? Cancellara looked like a wuss and the rest of them looked like puppets. Bet they're running to tweet their frustrations. Another boring stage. Two for two. That's the modern tour unfortunately.

it is interesting :S.... it's not fair but it would make things very interesting.... although I am hoping for a good performance from franck so I am a bit glad he's got back there... I think i mean the crash is bad and it would have been better without it because i think this stage could have been really good but there was the crash and now we get nothing really :S... they crashed it didnt make any gaps and no big fight for the stage win either.

Today showed us the difference between the Tour and the Giro: When, God forbid, something exciting happens in the Tour, it takes 20 minutes before everything is back to normal again. "Normal" being the peloton soft pedaling in protest to the finish because something (almost) happened GC-wise on a non mountain stage.

The stage in Milan was sort-of neutralized last year.

btw for teh fellow who gave me the link to bbc radio 5... my antiquated netbook tells me i do not have the correct media player so it cant play it:S... its some linux nonsense and i have tried many times to install this but i cant do it:S....... so that isnt working either but i found one site that i can play radio stations from around the world on.. so i just need to find one that will be broadcasting the tour..... the radio 5 live on there had some stuff about politics on it.........



for te stage... what a gay finish a big crash that could have been really interesting ends up being very uninteresting... I thought todays stage could have been good fun at the end... but i would like chavanal to win though and I hope he gets the yellow.

The best thing you could do is throw that netbook down the street and buy a sony viao. mine cost $1500 nz ($800) it's a powerhouse, it does everything even video rendering

I seem to remember folks were (wrongly) giving Vino a ton of crap when the small group started racing after Nibali and Basso crashed at the Giro this year.

I'm waiting to see exactly what happened here before I give any thoughts one way or the other (though I don't understand why they didn't race once everyone was back together).

Exactly right timy. You hit the nail on the head. They will then have to neutralise the gaps tommorow then if somebody crashes. I reckon schleck even though he got back has done a lot of damage to his chances of overall, he will be tired and injured come later in the tour after that. BMC have been caught up in the crash with hincapie and morabito being caught out.

that's a good price... but i was living in canada for the last year so i spent all of my money(i am not so old so I think i can behave like this for a bit longer :S)... and now I am back in blighty with no money and no job right now.......

but you're not wrong as soon as i get a job again the net book is getting it.... I plan on executing it with some kind of gun.
