I'm glad I didn't have to watch English-Eurosport or ITV or something. That would be...unbearable

British Eurosport isn't that bad really, although Harmon is even more cheery and smug than usually.

Sean Kelly of course is entirely unmoved by Wiggins' success and as dry as ever.

Haha, Tinkov said he told way too much that he had right to do. Commentator hopes that noone interested actually knows russian. Fat chance :p

Also the exact wording was: "the best spring classics rider there is", so it's rather ambiguous.

Got to be Cancellara, eh? Doubt Boonen or Gilber have any interest to get out of their contracts.

Not really, must be Fabian in the circumstances.

Tinkoff confirmed Kreuziger live on russian Eurosport.

Also said they're buying sprinters and "the best north classics rider there is".

The best north classics rider there is = Cancellara?

We need someone who speaks Russian! Find Denis Menchov! Check the autobus! :p

He should've said the second-best. But yeah, obvious he means Cancellara.

Contador's support looking good already.

Edit: How come the company is called Tinkoff if his name is Tinkov?

Meh, people were amazed by Tom's performance this year, because he started to perform in a Fabianesque manner for the first time.

And before someone gets upset, Tom is a very good rider - he just hadn't displayed an ability to TT against a peloton for that long before. Fabian clearly has, so I don't see how Tom showed anything which should scare Fabian too much.

It's Tin'kov.

'ff' part came from desire to look more aristocratic i guess.

Boonen can be strong enough to follow Cancellara and then out sprint him. Would not be the first time its happened to Cancellara.

Where is the Russian feed, if they repeat I can translate?
And would be a relief to not hear P&P

Dunno, I was just taking the opportunity to make a joke at the expense of Menchov. ;)

This is definitely a stage for the old men, eh?

Our commenator said when the Paris laps started:

"Is there age group competitions here? Old guys go first.", as there was Hincapie, Horner and Jens visiting in front.
