There was a problem with Cadel's yellow bike and he had to change it

Contador never went full pink in the Giro except in the time trial(which everyone does...)

That I had forgotten. I only remember him in all pink, flying up that wall.

What? Cadel had a yellow bike presented to him this morning and he started on it. Im watching about 30 minutes behind but from th epictures i am seeing his bike is fully yellow.



Nicely done.

A little later he changes back to his old bike in what seems to be a preplanned exchange. Apparently he rode the yellow bike just long enough to cover sponsor obligations.

Eurosport also said that apparently Bernard Hinault attacked 90k from the end on a Champs Elysee parade stage, time trialed with Zootelmek getting 2.30 on the pack which put Zootelmek into 2nd place and Hinault won the sprint.
