With the day we're having I'm not confident ofthe final sprint. A sharp corner with 200 to go.

Yes, it could end in tears for some people. Kind of a cruel run in in the final K.

Was hard to tell by the images. It looked like he was quite in the front, and somebody in front of him (probably Brajko) fell, just bad luck I guess, he looked hurt.

No it seems it was a touch of wheels. One went down and Gesink and Brajkovic had nowhere to go. They could not have avoided it.
The man in front of them probably could. As always is with these things.

I see, thanks for the clear-up guys. Damn Gesink's luck. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up impeding him from performing up to expectations, again. Sigh.

It's not just that there's been a lot of crashes already, it's that every crash has seemed to involve a big name or two - Gesink, Brajkovic, Boonen, Contador, Leipheimer, Horner, Popovych. Weird.

Frans Maassen Rabo DS: Gesink, Barredo and Garate fell. Gesink is worst, but he only seems to have cuts and bruises, nothing serious. Gesink has no problems on the bike. Maassen expects hell in the final part of the stage

Boonen just got given Vanish spray stain remover to get the bloodstains out of his shorts. Bit insensitive in my view.
