This is getting quite interesting. If he can take a minute or more on the top that could well be 1:30 starting the final ascent. And considering he's riding against Kyrienka at the moment I doubt he's wasting that much energy to do it, seems to me he's just riding on pure class not effort.

Nonsense. Quintana is obviously very strong, but he's spending plenty with this attack; just look at all the guys dropping of the peloton.
