This is getting quite interesting. If he can take a minute or more on the top that could well be 1:30 starting the final ascent. And considering he's riding against Kyrienka at the moment I doubt he's wasting that much energy to do it, seems to me he's just riding on pure class not effort.

oh my.. quintana looks like he is riding on the flats!... such ease... o my.. sky got their hand full now. GO QUINTANAAAAAA.....

Because in order to catch him up they would have to sacrifice both Kyrienka and Kennaugh, isolating Porte and Froome by the time they reach the summit. They don't see Quintana as enough of a threat to risk being weak to attacks from the likes of Contador.

Brailsford said quintana will be seen as big of a threat as Contadtor to sky at the Tour ;)
