It's a pity for the Movistar and Saxo boys that tomorrow is a rest day, as if it was a multi-mountain stage tomorrow as well, even if they don't gain time on Froome today, they could have potentially ripped the race apart on the next stage.

On a Flat stage???

Either Froome is dumb, or arrogant, which I don't really think, or he really does think he is strong enough to take this on. Incredible! Chapeau!

Valverde need to stop as soon as Froome is on the wheel. They need to keep attacking only him. They need to work together against him. If they start to ride for 2nd place its over

Yep. They can hurt Froome. Allow the group to bridge and hit Froome again. Maybe Valverde and AC, or some combination of either of those two.

Keep going Movistar, pull Froome along and drop everyone else :D

This really is a brilliant stage, just what the race needed.

From Froomes perspective he shouldn't have chased that Valverde attack, should just shadow bertie.

Porte really should consider dropping back to where the rest of his teammates are rather than doing the chase on his own (assuming he is on his own, haven't seen any pictures of him since he flew backwards from Evans!)

All 3 Euskaltels are in the 2nd group, just behind Rolland and Hesjedal (Anton, Nieve, Jon)

I don't quite understand what Valverde is trying to achieve right now? (Btw can someone tell me the order of the groups up the road right now, I'm a bit confused by my low quality stream).
