i dont get the criticism of movistar, valverde is riding for his best result at the tour ever and will have plenty of opportunities to attack froome, today and in the coming 2 weeks.

Movistar are starting to wear down Froome.

They are not going to do it in one day. But isolating Froome is going to psychologically wreck him for the third week

Plus there are more climbs to come. They will attack him today, but if they can't drop him, it's still not the end. They have a massive third week to finish the job off.
