Del Toro's teammate Muniz (his only decent teammate here) also seems solid. 9th on Col de la Loze and this year he finished 20th on the gc in the Vuelta a Colombia and 8th in the Vuelta de la Juventud. He doesn't seem to have any prior experience when it comes to racing in Europe, but I'd sign him to a WT team's developmental team.

I have to say that I like the route, it's hard enough to balance out the TTT and interesting. Mtt and a mountain stage as half stages is something I really like and people potentially having to go all in on the Iseran today is also a positive.

The only negative is that there won't be live pictures before the descent from Iseran.

Difficult to make out the race situation, but gaps seem quite small for the GC riders on the Iseran descent.

Del Toro and Pellizzari are class, I think Riccitello is ****ed here, they will work together

Edit: Getting italians mixed up

Wouldn't it be quite stupid of Pellizzari to work with someone who could potentially be a threat to his teammate's GC position?
Del Toro is already ahead of Piganzoli anyway. Lecerf is decently far behind Pellizzari so at worst for Italy, Pellizzari replaces Piganzoli on the podium.

All three in the Del Toro group are pulling through proper. The gap is now 25" down to the peloton for them.

Really problematic for Riccitello. Perfect situation for Del Torro if Pelilizari keeps pulling with him. Lecerf will pull anyways.

As the front duo seem to wait for the chasing trio, hopefully one of the motos will drop back to the peloton.

It's a fine balance I think, Riccitello is isolated and having to bring back Del Toro, so it's probably wise to pull for a while at least and make it harder for him before Piganzoli tries to bridge and drop the American.

So a Spanish duo have attacked from the peloton and is close to the Del Toro trio. Peloton is bigger than I thought.

Riccitello needs to use some of that ISN money to make himself a few deals here

Unless he gets nothing and Adams wasted it all on Chris
