Its time to be a bit more creative during the pro teams breakfast meetings, otherwise Bos will take his 3rd win.

I knew it we would have some Asian rider winning here at least a stage, that's good. Serry did quite well on 7th for a more of a punchy guy, that's nice.

Oh, we had this conversation early on. Verona finishes 42nd :p

P.S. Sulzberger on 4th ? That's a surprise.

could wang be finally the first chinese tour winner? honestly i find it ridiculous that the glorious chinese people didn't put this on their minds. too bad, in my opinion

McQuaid will love it! Lots of money to be made there, Europe is bankrupt and not the way of the future.(European mentality sucks compared to Chinese) The people from those chemical factory towns in China must've got some good genes, I see a lot of potential top cyclists there. Three legs, two hearts, double aorta's etc.

Hong-Man Choi says hello:

2,18m and 160kg.

Not sure how the ideal bike racer will look like, but lets wait and see.

(not quite Chinese)

Haha, in Dutch we have a proverb for this. Een reus op lemen voeten. That describes China perfectly.

What is Chinese mentality? Work hard for a low paycheck?

Work hard, earn money and do better than their parents.

Direct opposite to the lazy t w a t s in Europe.:p

So how many Chinese university/college students are finding a job at the moment?

If I want to work hard in horrible conditions for little money I'll just take my time machine to 19th century Europe.

Unemployment rate among College Graduates is less than 4%. It's the rural migrant workers who are finding it hard in china. The college educated urban population is well off.

comments like that aren't funny and in fact very stupid. I think many young people in europe are doing a LOT better than their parents, less horrendous relationships, more quality time, broader interests overall, openminded vision of the world around them, traveling, less racism etc, all things way more important than earning more than your parents

Have you taken a look at what kind of job these graduates have? ;)

Not the kind that you'd expect.

Jobs anyone could do.

We are hijacking the thread, so better to stop;) but that's the difference right now between Chinese/Indian and European young Grads.
Since competition is very tough, they'll start at a lower level or a job in an unrelated field and earn a decent pay rather than waiting for the optimal job.
