I'm surprised anyone made the time-cut in that case. these race organisers should be stoned to death:D
Or maybe you shouldn't follow cycling if it makes you want to kill people.

Weird stage - it was supposed to be the queen stage and was indeed the hardest on paper, yet it didn't bring any decision (contrary to the years before). I think this is mostly due to the fact that some teams couldn't make the race hard (like Saxo Bank with only 4 guys) and some teams didn't want to make it hard, for whatever reason (Radioshack, Sky, Katusha).

I'm a little surprised by the lack of initiative by Katusha for example - this course would have been good for Ivanov, he was only 30 seconds down on GC, they have a strong team - why didn't they do anything? Kolobnev and Kirchen aren't in top form, but still. Same counts for Sky with Lovkvist and Flecha, Radioshack with Klöden, Rast and Armstrong ... it almost seems like no one really wanted to win except F. Schleck and Carrara.

But maybe most of the riders I mentioned are just focusing on the TdF and want to avoid an early form.

I think Carrara is going to win it now. He has a strong team and has been able to follow Schleck twice. Tomorrow's stage will be less hard than the last two so he should be able to do it again.
