Looks like Ben Swift won't be joining in the sprint

From twitter- 'Bad day at the office today. Was a Perfect finish with a short climb about 4k to go had good legs. Then something went bang in my back'

A couple of questions:
1- any idea what Alex Rasmussen was disqualified for?

2- is the photo from the article from today's race, and if so, what is with the white jersey for Visconti? Is it a Euro rankings leader's jersey or something?

Visconti is leading the UCI Europe Tour Rankings, and their leaders jersey is all white - so i think you're right on that one

LoL... WHAT??
That has got to be one of the worst ways ever leaving a race. Not because you were injured, not because you got sick, not even because you fell for the time limit. No! Because you got lost!

2nd Stage

break away composed of

Poos, Longo Borghini,Napolitano,Roux and Montenegro

they got more or less 4 min on peloton after 70 km

Christian Poos, Danilo Napolitano, Anthony Roux, Paolo Longo Borghini and Jorge Montenegro broke away immediately after the start, and had a lead of up to 5:10. But now 53km into the race's longest stage, the gap has fallen to 3:50.
