Mezgec went down as well, bit of a weird crash, was like he caught handlebars or something, as he tended towards the barriers comparatively slowly (for sprint pace, was far from slow), then it was like he thought he could steer away from it but didn't have enough room, so it looked like he slowed right down then accelerated into the crash. Bizarre.

Huh? He had to slam the breaks cause Velits was so slow and as a result of that he lost control over the bike. What's weird about that?

On the live viewing, it looked like he slowed down and went wide (I thought he must have hit what turned out to be Velits). It just looked weird because all momentum was lost, then he crashed at pace, so it looked like he slowed down then accelerated into the barrier. With the slow motion replay showing us how it happened, it's not weird, but with the camera angle and the way it took place it really looked strange to me viewing it live.

Wait, they are doing that attractivity thingy again this year?

Bah
And... the best thing about it is: The winner of this classement gets 30 Seconds Bonus. Krizek (2nd and 20 Seconds) leads the race.
I like Krizek but this is not what it should be about.

Okay. Fallen trees on the road, gotta say that's a new one.

Just glad there weren't any trees falling on the riders.

Theo Bos sucks so incredibly hard it's not even funny anymore

The stupid thing is that Gesink seems to be left to his own devices, bunnyhopping over branches, and Bos seems to be the protected rider. Hello, this isn't the Tour de Langkawi.

Damage:
Poels 26s (fall with 5km to go)
Jungels +1m08
Arredondo +6m13
Aru +10m25s
Arredondo's lost time is understandable because he was in Colombia "training" with Betancur.;)

That's right, Gesink could never win races in a different hemisphere ;)

not too much interest in Poland as of yet were are the post tour hangovers in hiding, a decent race that opens with sprints this year, a chaotic one yesterday
