Mezgec went down as well, bit of a weird crash, was like he caught handlebars or something, as he tended towards the barriers comparatively slowly (for sprint pace, was far from slow), then it was like he thought he could steer away from it but didn't have enough room, so it looked like he slowed right down then accelerated into the crash. Bizarre.

With the slow motion replay showing us how it happened, it's not weird, but with the camera angle and the way it took place it really looked strange to me viewing it live.
