Worst finish line smash since the Policeman incident in the TDF 94 I think when Jalabert was badly mashed up.

Very clear deviation from Groenwegen who should be thrown out of the race and given a further ban for endangering fellow competitors.

Hope everyone has nothing worse than cuts and bruises.

Also finishing this flat race with a descending false flat is definitely NOT a good idea.

The second he sees Jakobsen coming by he moves to the right, meanwhile the entire road to the left is clear, he keeps moving right and then sticks the elbow out.

And it's not as if Jakobsen tried to squeeze in a hole that wasn't there. There was a TON of room on the right to pass by sprinting standards. Groenewegen just didn't even come close to holding his line.

It's about time severe punishments are handed to riders who pull off *** like this. Groenewegen should be banned for a few months, simple as that.

I fear life threatening injuries for the spectator with the camera. That impact was insane.
