I think people will use Wiggins Paris Nice style bikes, slight technical question....with di2 satellite shifters couldnt you have shifters in the normal place and also on clip on tri bars on a road bike? For this stage I think that would be perfect

Yep, a lot do that on TT bikes now. One of the big advantages of using electric shifters, especially on climbs in TTs.

Tiago Machado wins TT and GC tomorrow

easy

well he seems to be in good form and he does have a very good itt. if he has a great day and wiggins a bad one it could be possible, very unlikely, but still possible.

Rogers was dropped today without helping Wiggo that much (Porte much stronger for example). So why should he finish second? I think it will be hard for him to even make the top-10.

Because this year (and always) he has been a much better TT than climber, asides from Willunga... and as it happens tomorows stage is a TT

Still a TT is a TT and its not like tomorow is a MTT or anything more up and down.
But still I guess youre right, he is probably being a bit over rated

Yeh maybe with a MTT but its not a mountain TT is it?
My point is that he will perform better than his climbing would suggest (not spectacular as some people seem to think) as he will have an advantage over other riders in that he is a superior time triallist so he has a better position etc

520 meters of climbing in 16km. so about 1/2 MTT

Congrats to LLS.

I think Wiggins might win the overall but Sanchez still has a chance.
I hope Rogers can top 3 he deserves it after all the work he has done.

I think both scenarios are unlikely. Sanchez has done well but he won't hold out Wiggins. As much as I would like to see Rogers on the podium he is not the TT rider he used to be and riders like Talansky are only four seconds behind him on GC. Even so would like to see Mick get a result with all of the time off he has had due to illness.

Despite the climb, the course suits Wiggins since 3/4 of it will favor those with the better Q factor. Wiggins would have to be massively bad on the climb to loose to Sanchez. Sanchez should be motivated, but could fall off the podium. Talansky should move up, but to the podium would be a stretch. I would not count out Rodgers, Mollema. Don't know about Clement?

Yeah it will be close for third but I don't think that nine seconds is anywhere near enough for Sanchez to maintain the lead over Wiggins with the way Wiggins has been going over the past few months.
