I assume you mean Buenahora, Gómez and Cardeñas, since we both know El Gato isn't a trackie.

It was 2009 when Marque did fairly well in San Luís - he was 12th overall. The climbing doesn't suit him, though some of the more gradual power climbs allow him to do alright.

ah yes sorry :D

No, really. I'm actually a relative newbie. Big gaps in my cycling knowledge.

he was/is a huge talent won pan american championships has u23 and then went to panaria where he was an excellent allround sprinter. got mixed up in some ridiculous doping alegations around some steroids which got into his system due to the famous argentine barbeques ;)

I expect a lot from him this year in the italian races.

Unexpected side effect of the CQ Ranking game: I have unreasonable expectations and get severely disappointed if my riders don't do well in every single stage, no matter how early in the season. I surprised myself thinking "Oh gods Soler is worthless."
For the moment his main Target is to stay upright, really, literally.

no I have no idea of what happened, it wasn't mentioned in the article either... He might have been hanging in the back of the peloton when it split because of the crosswinds

To be fair, Richeze is hardly a superstar of the sport. I'm willing to wager there are thousand of cycling fans (including those on here) would have NFI who he is.

Gazzetta dello Sport also reports that Colombia's Mauricio Soler (Movistar) crashed on a dirt section of road because riders had not been warned of the danger by radio.

what a load of crap. even withour radio he would've crashed. besides there's always race racio that warns for obstacles
