Costa moved to the left when Kron was still behind him plus he stopped early enough to leave a gap for 1 rider on the left. Not sure what he did wrong.

He choses the right side of the road to sprint, ends up completely on the left side because he knows Kron is coming from that side. Against the rules...

But he's def getting away with it because he left "some" space.

If this was a bunch sprint, Costa would surely be relegated! Even though it's 1 on 1, he should still be relegated

Don't know if this will stand but it would be Rui Costa's 6th stage win at the Tour de Suisse.

In fairness to Costa, he did check his deviation before completely closing the door.

We've seenRelegation for a lot less, and result confirmed for a lot worse.

And that is of course the biggest problem, that there isn't much consistency. They didn't relegate Alaphilippe on stage 3, so with that in mind they might actually DQ Costa.

Costa deliberately swerved to impede Kron's acceleration. He disguises it somewhat by opening up the lane in the end, but by that time he had already sealed the win with the damage done.

Actually smart from Costa knowing he wasn't gonna hold on otherwise anyways. He's gonna get away with it because of it.

Costa's swerve forced Kron to stop pedaling hard--killed his mojo--and then left the door open technically, but by then the deal was done.

Is the final climb Sunday hard enough to make big differences, or will the TT decide it all?

It's long, but it's not exactly Pyrenees-steep.

Imo, Carapaz has it won but it the spots for 2 and 3 are close, that climb had Schachmann blow up on it today so who knows on Sunday.

They're gonna have the podium ceremonies for all the jerseys, and fighter, and best dancer, and what have you before they come to a conclussion regarding the stage win.

But Kron has entered the tent!
