You can clearly see Del Toro looking behind for 15 minutes when Rivera is sweeping across the road with a lateral acceleration of an oil tankerPeople whining about UAE when it was in fact Rivera from Ineos that was the main culprit of that crash.

You mean 'sweeping' across Yate front wheel. You can clearly see Del Toro looking behind for 15 minutes when Rivera is sweeping across the road with a lateral acceleration of an oil tanker
Changing lane in pursuit of an attacker is normal and expected. Had Del Toro been attentive, there would've been no crash.People whining about UAE when it was in fact Rivera from Ineos that was the main culprit of that crash.
Yates doesn't crash, he easily navigates the situation. As he was attentive. You mean 'sweeping' across Yate front wheel.
The streets will never forgetToday's final climb:
Carì from Faido - Profile of the ascent
Carì from Faido is a climb in the region Tessin. It is 11.6km long and bridges 938 vertical meters with an average gradient of 8.1%, resulting in a difficultyclimbfinder.com
Last time they did this, Atapuma won from a breakaway just in front of the favourites' group. Gaps were surprisingly small, with
almost 20 guys within 1 minute.
Obvious mistake by Del Toro…People whining about UAE when it was in fact Rivera from Ineos that was the main culprit of that crash.

the peloton is down to 20 riders apparently, but no idea what's the plan now. 80k of flat to come up next, and they didn't drop Yates anywayDumbass Ineos chase a random breakaway. But when they are supposed to be pro-active in the race, they are always hiding.
Like the last stage in Romandie. Get the fatigue in where you can.the peloton is down to 20 riders apparently, but no idea what's the plan now. 80k of flat to come up next, and they didn't drop Yates anyway
The regroupment was inevitable. Had it been 30km of flat not 80km then pushing on would have been viable. Should still end up with a good breakaway.the peloton is down to 20 riders apparently, but no idea what's the plan now. 80k of flat to come up next, and they didn't drop Yates anyway
Not even Switserland can be a competitive race anymore.
Wow, "people" are not a homogenous blob?!People when there are no gaps on a MTF: "Bwaahh, boring riders, nobody races, everybody finishes together, cycling is ruined!!!!"
People when there is separation on a MTF:
"Bwaahh, no suspense in the race, no excitement, cycling is ruined!!!!"
People when people disagree: "Bwaahh, it's impossible to satisfy everyone, public discourse is ruined!!!!"People when there are no gaps on a MTF: "Bwaahh, boring riders, nobody races, everybody finishes together, cycling is ruined!!!!"

I'm fine with the young rider class but it should definitely be Under-23 instead of 25.Skjelmose getting the Best Young Rider's jersey just shows how silly it is to keep this tradition alive. Please get rid of this. Some are joking that there should be a Best Old Rider's jersey instead - in my opinion, that's not even a joke, on the contrary it's more relevant, and it would be a good occasion to pay tribute to some of the famous "veterans".
Cool. By your logic, had Kelderman been attentive, there would be no crash for him.Changing lane in pursuit of an attacker is normal and expected. Had Del Toro been attentive, there would've been no crash.
Yates doesn't crash, he easily navigates the situation. As he was attentive.
To be serious for a second, after so many of the greatest races of the season have not only been won in dominant fashion, but early and as expected in a very one-sided manner, I'd appreciate a race like last year's edition with a tight battle for GC more than usual. I wouldn't blame anyone for being just a little bit fed-up with demolition jobs at this point.
