Plus for once it really wasn't his fault.Are you kidding? He was super lucky today. Normally he would have broken 3 shoulders and 11 fingers.

They abandoned their best rider (who was still the strongest uphill after his crash) who was placed higher in GC worse than Vlasov did in the Vuelta last year. I hope Wilco don't feel bullied!Of course not. Kelderman isn't Pogacar, he was only 15 seconds ahead of Uijtdebroeks in GC. Tulett could have waited/worked only after the car called that Kelderman was physically ok and that his bike was ok or after he had a new bike. If Kelderman were to have issues due to the impact, you just would have forfeited your other GC rider for no good reason and be left with nothing. Having Tulett stay with Uijtdebroeks as long as possible, and then drop back and do one long pull for Kelderman would have been the best and most logical call.
150th on the WT.Wilco got screwed out of his 100th top 10 without a win, Del Toro hit the front after he crashed him out too, which only leads us to the conclusion that he did it on purpose. #StopTheWilcoEmbargo
Pretty impressive from Riccitello given that he's barely had a season since The UAE Tour. IPT with some interesting options for The Tour.Froome watching that pre-tour display from Matthew Riccitello with his selection in the balance;

If it were a matter of 'letting someone win' the prize, who would have been more appropriate that would have had any chance?So nice of the Peloton to let a rider who‘s never been on the same team as Gino Mäder win the #rideforGino Bergpreis today. (I‘m maybe being a bit too harsh)
Emirates doing everything for Visma not have enough riders to start the Tour de France.Wilco got screwed out of his 100th top 10 without a win, Del Toro hit the front after he crashed him out too, which only leads us to the conclusion that he did it on purpose. #StopTheWilcoEmbargo
Del Toro must have been distracted by his muscular physique.It seems obvious it was VPP's fault.
Those aren't comparable.They abandoned their best rider (who was still the strongest uphill after his crash) who was placed higher in GC worse than Vlasov did in the Vuelta last year. I hope Wilco don't feel bullied!
Kelderman catching up fast is quite meaningless though. Impossible to predict or assess whether he was actually completely fine and that strong (ignoring he could ride his own pace, while Blobloblo had to react to multiple accelerations), or whether he was riding on adrenalin and would possibly implode later. Or whether the crash could see its impact tomorrow or the day after. Sorry, no sane DS was going to make the call for Uijtdebroeks to fall back for Wilco Kelderman.Kelderman is the only one on the team with the legs to finish on the podium, yet they abandoned him at the first opportunity. Blobloblo kept riding for his own GC after he was dropped and Kelderman was catching up fast. Ridiculous, what a selfish rider.
I think this is perfectly on par for Mas in this race.I was expecting more from Mas after seeing how well Movistar rode in Dauphiné.

He usually only gets better during a GT and an unipuerto in the beginning of a race like this is probably not what suits him the most.
I would say you are being unreasonable for now. Lets see what happens.Sure, it isn't a particular bad result fyhim, and he might also become stronger later in the race. It's just that Romo and Lazkano's performances in Dauphiné raised the expectations, and I would also like to see Mas back at his absolute best/a whole new level.
His Team said on X, that he crashed?
ouch. good luck challenging Vingegaard and Pogacar.
I really hope that EF does not ride for a GC result from Carapaz. There is nothing in his recent past that suggests he could challenge for a podium spot. I hope he ships a ton of time in week one and then goes on multiple mountain raids in the later stages. A stage win or two in high mountain stages is worth far more to sponsors than an invisible top 10, 20 minutes off the podium. Shunning GC will also free up Bettiol, Powless, and Van den berg to stage hunt as well.His Team said on X, that he crashed?

If he is not too badly hurt, he will drop Skjelmose these coming stages.What a ludicrous overestimation of Kelderman, lol.
That's not even the biggest issue, even if he -in case everything goes his way- is capable of riding top 3 ahead of Uijtdebroeks. What if tomorrow Kelderman says he didn't have a good night's sleep because of the crash, or even feels stiffness due to what happened today. Boom, he loses 5 minutes and there goes your genius plan.What a ludicrous overestimation of Kelderman, lol.

Where on Earth is this coming from??If he is not too badly hurt, he will drop Skjelmose these coming stages.
