What a ludicrous overestimation of Kelderman, lol.
That's not even the biggest issue, even if he -in case everything goes his way- is capable of riding top 3 ahead of Uijtdebroeks. What if tomorrow Kelderman says he didn't have a good night's sleep because of the crash, or even feels stiffness due to what happened today. Boom, he loses 5 minutes and there goes your genius plan.

If Kelderman were Pogacar and you have a 100% chance to win in case he reaches the finish, then sure.

I really hope that EF does not ride for a GC result from Carapaz. There is nothing in his recent past that suggests he could challenge for a podium spot. I hope he ships a ton of time in week one and then goes on multiple mountain raids in the later stages. A stage win or two in high mountain stages is worth far more to sponsors than an invisible top 10, 20 minutes off the podium. Shunning GC will also free up Bettiol, Powless, and Van den berg to stage hunt as well.
There are a few other riders who will go stage hunting in high mountain stages.

But the hype was to be the second best domestique after Kuss but both got bullied by Adam and Majka. They were just saved since Vingegaard was head and shoulders above Pogacar in the third week.
I don't agree on Majka. I think Kelderman did a better job for Vingegaard than Majka for Pogacar.

Remember the good work Kelderman did for Vingegaard on Tourmalet. He was also the last one of Visma who stayed with Vingegaard in the vosge stage.

He also did a quite decent work on Puy de Dome and on Col de la loze when they had to stop because of the cars.

Yes very suspect and if you look as well Landeirovic who I think is actually His Excellency of the UAE actually warned of this on page 1 of the thread. :frowning::frowning::frowning:

Del Toro will destroy Wilco on the mountain

Kelderman did good on one stage, otherwise his pace kept getting overrun my UAE when they wanted to take over.

Visma spokesman unhappy with the conduct of UAE. Pretty funny stuff.

Apparently some on Wielerflits are going with the crashed on purpose line but I can't speak Dutch so can't confirm. Hopefully Del Toro attacks tomorrow to really spice things up a bit.
Yes they were terrified that kelderman would be so flying and so strong that Adam yates would be unable to follow such attacks, so they took him out just to make sure. Lol. The dutch belgian fans are always funny.

Didn't Vingegard keep doing that to his opponents a couple of years ago?
