He can still come back but his niche seems to be uphill sprinting rather than climbing.RedheadDane said:Cort distanced?

He's still in the peloton/group of favourites, isn't he?RedheadDane said:Cort distanced?

No, he was dropped on Otley Chevin, and now he's chasing alone 1 minute behind the GVA groupVelolover2 said:Cort still there?
Ah. His achilles heel seems to be the length of the hills rather than the steepness.Cance > TheRest said:No, he was dropped on Otley Chevin, and now he's chasing alone 1 minute behind the GVA groupVelolover2 said:Cort still there?
I think the issue today is that it has been extremely hard, rather than the hills being long (he was dropped on a 1400m climb).Velolover2 said:Ah. Amstel/Liege are too long and hard for him but maybe he should try Fleche Wallone?

Dunbar is great, he's a real talent.
But not a lot will be done (races being centered around Harrogate).yaco said:Tour of Yorkshire whets the appetite for the World's in 2019 - So much can be done with the parcours to make a challenging race.

Yeah, ok. These stages seems to be the limit for him. He is probably more suited to the flemish bergs than very hilly races.
