I thought it was a short climb. 40 seconds is too much for that climb.
Team should review his calendar now that they know he is flying in February.

No harm in Quintana being in good form in February - I'd rather have good form and try to hold it, then trying to chase form.

It's completely redundant for me to post on this forum because every time I have an idea for a post, I come here and I see that you had already posted it.

Except when you make posts about riders singing contract extensions. :p
Anyway, PCS corrected it. Oh well… it was fun while it lasted.

What does Nairo's schedule between Paris-Nice and Dauphiné looks like? The former, as I understand, should be his main target in the spring. It is starting in only two weeks time, so him being in form now is not that outrageous. If I remember correctly, he is riding a mainly French calendar, owing to his team not being in WT. As such he most likely doesn't have to keep his current form throughout the spring and can build up a new peak for July.

RedheadDane, the famous physicist.

Yep!
Aren't you a science teacher? You should know these things; can particles split if they go fast enough?
Possible that the required speed might be… slightly faster than what Nairo was going.

I'm a maths teacher. But no, I don't think they can unless something else happens to said particle as well.

But I feel on treacherous grounds here.

So does Nairo carpet bomb the field for the third summit finish in a row? Or does he treat it as a Sunday coffee ride now that the race is won?

Only bits and pieces of coverage unfortunately on twitter, what a crying shame there is zilch on TV or the radio...anyway, Bernard won the stage and Nairoman wins the race. Apparently he attacked in the end but couldn't bridge to the "échappée" that had a 3'45" lead.

Strong showing from Bernard today. Attacked out of the break with ~17k to go. Held his advantage until 2.5k to go when Peters catched up. They then exchanged attacks, could not make a difference and sounds like Bernard won the sprint between them.
Great to see a hard working domestique taking his first win.
