What does Nairo's schedule between Paris-Nice and Dauphiné looks like? The former, as I understand, should be his main target in the spring. It is starting in only two weeks time, so him being in form now is not that outrageous. If I remember correctly, he is riding a mainly French calendar, owing to his team not being in WT. As such he most likely doesn't have to keep his current form throughout the spring and can build up a new peak for July.

Only bits and pieces of coverage unfortunately on twitter, what a crying shame there is zilch on TV or the radio...anyway, Bernard won the stage and Nairoman wins the race. Apparently he attacked in the end but couldn't bridge to the "échappée" that had a 3'45" lead.

Strong showing from Bernard today. Attacked out of the break with ~17k to go. Held his advantage until 2.5k to go when Peters catched up. They then exchanged attacks, could not make a difference and sounds like Bernard won the sprint between them.
Great to see a hard working domestique taking his first win.
