Should’ve just run to the finish ala Ventoux. At least he showed something today.

Wouldn't have mattered either way, he was already losing terrain quickly.
I agree, but maybe he could have hold the main group. Despite the crash later he didnt lose lot of time...

I mean, spanih media say that this is the greastest performance of him after his crash..and that just the punture avoid him to get the stage, and that is not true.

Even a day he was in a break in Sicilia was better than today, becouse there were Nibali and people like that, and nobody talk about.

And of course he has been quite well in le Tour in general, especially 3rd in Alp D Huez, and the day of Foix when he finished in a group with people of GC..just before to get coronavirus.

Today was far of that level, but quite better than the level que had last year in Coppi Bartalli in March..a race with better names, but not very different level to this one were he was struggling just to keep the peloton

Vercher abandones by a crash, he was 3rd in GC...his team mate Victor de la parte is now 3rd. They have two card to play, no just one. euskaltel is the strongerst team now. They have 2 men in GC and another in the breakaway, and they can play tactically, although Bizcarrra is not the stronger of the race.

Froome has today a good oportunity to get the stage, He has just a team mate, and he is always in the first position of the peloton, between the team of the leader, Quick step, and the euskaltel riders.

Today is the higher stage in altitude and quite hard...but they took quite easy the begining, maybe the hardest part of this race..anyway the key point of the stage is the climb they are to climb now, 6,6 at 6,9, anopugh to make the selection, and more at that altitude, or even someone try from far. The problem for that is that there are loto of people in just seconds in GC, but it looks very interesting.

Like half the peloton has crashed out in this race. Those new roads look good but are apparently also pretty slippery.

Badilatti was strong yesteerday and he went solo from the breakaway to get the stage. Peloton is at 2,5 minutes. It is a good moment ofr a reaction , otherway Badilatti has big chances for the stage, and in GC just a few second on the last climb

Badilatti is close in GC and if the leader dont react he could get GC leader, becouse there is not people to work yet and the terrain is hard till the end.

It wpould be great to see Froome now attacjking, but maybe he do just if there is a samll groups of leaders and they looks echa others...Otherway maybe he just try to get with them with no ambitions in GC or the stage, but showing he can be with the best of this race.

It is going to be a big group at the bottom of the last 5 km climb...with Badilatti at one minute and no easy to win the stage.

It is look the GC riders prefers to try in the hard slopes and the Muur of Cobbles of Mount Kigali this weekend

I'm curious what you still expect from him? His standout performance from the past years is a breakaway in the TDF where he got dropped by the only good climbers. He's performing at the level he was at before he went to Sky and I don't see any signs that his level is going to improve drastically.

All I see is a washed up rider collecting easy paychecks, I don't get it.

General classification after stage 6. Top 10 is separated by just a few seconds, can they gain the time in the last two stages?

Yeah, it's basically an under-23 race this year, so that's an accurate assessment!

Very happy for Badilatti here… First pro victory for this good rider.

In fact, it was possibly his first victory ever. He came to cycling late, as a student. He did well, so after some time Madiot‘s FdJ signed him. Soon, he was among their best climbers.

2022 was not his best year, so he left for 36.5… He seems happy in his new PCT, and today even won in front of a teammate. Very nice :)

stage 8 is like a mini Ronde - cobbled climbs. I'd be surprised if it were seconds deciding the GC & not minutes. Please tell me stage 8 will be shown live somewhere.

Its probably my favourite stage on procycling manager - insanely difficult but also an absolute blast.

Nice to see Mulubrhan take the lead again, he's probably been the most consistent rider and has 5 top 5 finishes so far. But i would have been content for Lecerf to take it as well, but he will get his chances easier in the future regardless, considering his background. There are now 3 riders within one second, and 7 riders within 12 seconds. This is still wide open, but considering how easily Mulubrhan finishes in the front, i think he has the advantage. The others will have to straight up drop him.
