Whats tomorrows stage like? is it tough enough to change gc?

It isn't too difficult; normally probably nothing would happen, only a little tricky finish, but nothing to cause significant gaps in the GC. However, considering the GC is so close, it should be more than enough incentive for the guys to try, so I do expect some GC action, because the first 4 riders are only two second apart I think?

Did you watch the finish video? That's a hard final. Could create gaps.

It reminds me of the GP Wallonie, with the the Namur citadel. Not too much steep gradients, and although it is a longer hill the climbers don't really come to the fore. Strong classics type riders, such as Boom, might create the gap they need to win. The low gradient makes it ideal to escape from a reduced peloton, who knows what could happen if Roche or Lovkvist attack on the last steep part? Monfort is still a long way from winning this, that's for sure.

Fabio Duarte is a lost cause. He only rides whenever he wants to.

First race of the year to be fair. Although I've not much faith in Coldeportes until later in the year now that they f*cked up and came over to train in the Dolomites in January again.

credit to Monfort, radioshack really seem to have their stuff together with Johan out of the picture.

Riis working his magic with Roche so, no doubt clinic talk insuing. Pity they dont show weekend stages as their would be market for it.

Im still not convinced. Its highly possible that monfort will lose his lead today if he doesnt get over the climb with the otjer favourites. And radioshack need to win something before you can say that they have their act together.

Its he sign of the decline in cycling, moneys harder come by, local governments are not as keen to accommodate either.

Cycling in how its funded is a funny one, as you can charge a ticket price except for finish line and vip areas.

Finally they've started. The last 20 k's should be interesting with some climbing and the uphill finish at the end of the stage.
