I really don't see what's the problem with saying VDB did an impressive Dauphiné in the mountains. No Coppel wasn't better and Tejay wasn't better in the mountains as well. In the time trials he made up all the time on him.
But when someone goes on to say Gesink lost the Tour de Suisse to Frank Schleck all hell breaks lose because Gesink was soo much better(But Gesink wasn't trying right?)
