Jayco should have sent Walscheid who could have won a stage. Especially, seeing Quick their Asian Conti sprinter finished a close sixth.

Chris Froome unable to hold the wheel of any of the @hundred riders in front of him, instead of same time, he joins elite group that lost 19 seconds!!

BREAKING NEWS!
Chris Froome is in the breakaway.
I repeat. Christopher Clive Froome is currently in front of the peloton, rather than behind it.
He's accompanied by 7 other guys, including one who is a day late for Taco Tuesday.

(Unfortunately, coverage doesn't start until almost an hour...)

A new take on cycling coverage: Only start broadcast late but start from kilometer zero and never cut to live.

What are they showing?
PCS says only 45 Ks to go, but the coverage keeps stuck at something that happened with 170ish Ks to go.
Get to the live coverage, dammit!

As we unfortunately will be unable to watch the race, I guess looking at the live updates will have to do.

Surprise-surprise: Froome got dropped from the break and has been caught by the peloton. I don't think he has been dropped by the peloton... yet.

Break will win this I think, way too much power in this. If it's less than 30s it should be fine for GC tho.

At this point Froome might be a greater scammer than those indian dudes calling old american ladies to claim they are IRS inspectors and need to provide them with a $500 amazon card to avoid being prosecuted.

Maybe Fabio is learning Mandarin or passing on sprint tips? :)

Good for Warre Vangheluwe for getting the win. Lead out men getting a win is second only to the breakaway holding on. Nasty looking crash there in the finale.
You must be the only one who watched yesterday's stage, I passed on watching because, while I thought I had never seen the Tour of Guangxi before some dark memories of the scenery started coming back to me, so I must have seen it years ago and had just purged the memory from my brain...

What the heck is going on with Fabio? I was so glad he had made a comeback after his horrendous crash, but he hasn't produced much lately. Has he lost the drive?

I'll try to catch tonight's stage seeing as we're already at the halfway point, but it'll be an effort.

Did anyone get injured? Judging from the results, Stuyven who got S.T. as the winner among the guys finishing around 2 minutes down seems to be the worst affected, so it can't have been that bad hopefully? Almost all of Ineos seems to have been held up/gone down too.

Stuyven probably won't start tomorrow yes. Narvaez went down first, I think other Ineos riders waited.

Not peanut M&Ms man (I'll always remember him for handing out peanut M&Ms to fellow riders during a stage at the Tour this year), I can't find any news on him, but hopefully it's not too bad. :(
