This is a race of two parts. First part is the Muscat Classic, a one day race on February 9, followed by 5 stages of Tour of Oman. Startlist should be the same for both races.

It's like UAE Tour, but with actual hills and mountains instead of a flat desert. Should make for a better viewing.
A lot of riders will rider both this race and UAE Tour afterwards.

Notable riders: Adam Yates, Kristoff, Coquard, Ulissi, rota, Herrada, Jakobsen, Ewan

Live video stream available on Eurosport/GCN (only highlights), should be.
Should also be a live link available in Arabic. Links:

I am surprised so many sprinters are riding this race - Stage one will be a sprint, but the rest are tough stages. It is possible like Ewan or Kristoffon a good day could make one other final but they'll need luck.

Maybe they mistook it for UAE Tour. Wrong desert race fools!

Somewhat surprisingly no block headwind on Al Jissah tomorrow so there will probably be some splits this time.

I was going to say this, except I don't think they have the slightest chance on stages 2-5.

Last year there were some local streams. I don't know about this year. I would like to watch it, too. Its a better route then Saudi and UAE.

Edit: tiz-cycling is on with a local stream

I guess A.Yates will drop everyone on the last hill. On the contrary, I could see a first pro win for Busatto.

Gap is down to 8:30 with 100km to go, so it's under control
Head of peloton is strung out in one long line. Are those in front Cofidis?

I think these guys could have gotten 25 minutes and still not been a huge problem to catch.
