I think during last 4 months he's dug himself to a hole at least as deep and crashed at least as hard as Wellens in racing and training tbf. Probably this is training for him.

Not really, everytime he was in the front, the break pretty much gained time. It got quite close on a few occasions when it really shouldn't have because he really couldn't push out the proper watts!
