Isn't posting controversial stuff just because it's "fun" literally the definition of trolling?
I don't post controversial stuff for fun

My opinions are my opinions and genuine. In this case it was that I wished pello focussed on other races, bigger races, in this part of the season. It annoys me that he does tour of Poland, which I consider to be a weak race in the WT.

This is why I call it Mickey mouse, which is a fun way to express that, there is literally no point to be here if we can't joke around a little bit. These forums are a nice little opportunity for self expression relating to a unique interest, they are not some g20 summit or somwthing
Cheers. Regard ilmaestro

UAE gonna create havoc tomorrow
+0'25", 3rd: Ulissi
+0'50", 10th: Großschartner
+1'12", 16th: Wellens
+1'23", 19th: Majka

The penultimate climb that they do twice is roughly 7 km at 5 %. No carnage tomorrow.

It certainly is a weak race for the WorldTour and I would also prefer to see him do the Vuelta if he had the shape but that doesn't seem to be the case at all.

But you did also refer to the Vuelta as a Mickey Mouse race recently so I was just wondering why everything was worthless to you. But maybe there isn't the biggest system to the comments.

As we're already chatting about Wednesday's stage 3, here's the details -

Walbrzych to Duszniki-Zdroj , 156.5 km, start at 12.35 CET, TV from 12.20 CET (tune in early if you can 'cause it'll be hard from km 0). 3100 meters of climbing in 156.5 km will be tough for some.

The depart in Walbrzych features right away a 1.3-kilometer ascent at 7.4% and 2.6Km at 6.9%... After that there are three second category ascents (and a difficult non-categorized one) which will make any chase difficult. Strong groups may gain advantage that will be hard to bring back. The most difficult of which is 2 kilometers long at 9.7%. Towards the final third of the stage there is a small section where it is possible to reorganize before the final ascents, but it is a difficult one to control.

The ascent to Karlow is 7 kilometers long at 5%, finishing with 18.5 kilometers to go, with a plateau right after the top. After a small descent the peloton still faces an explosive hilltop finish where in one way or another differences are promised and a thrilling finish is likely. The final 900 meters average 8% and the gradients go up to 14% before gradually coming down to the finish line.

(If the finish is the same as last year, it's no more then a footpath on the last climb so being at the front is cruical. Also only two riders per team are authorised to use earpieces (those riders will be identified with Yellow bib numbers.)

Tour of Poland is not Mickey Mouse, Froome isn't even here.

Battle of the young puncheurs tomorrow: Nys, Nerurkar and Christen? UAE have lots of cards to play as usual, hopefully its more than a 1 km explosion
Based on today's time trial, Onley should definitely be in that list. Apparently he crashed yesterday.
So Mads Pedersen with the best T1 time at 9.11, five seconds ahead of Grossschartner. And finshed 31st in the end. Was there some sort of prize or points at the intermediate check? Or did he just try to take advantage of his terrain by yoloing it like crazy then dying on the climb?

I think the latter. He's a heavy guy, so he probably hoped his presence on the mountain the day before would have flattened it somewhat.

Jokes aside, he did try to hang on yesterday too, but I was surprised that he gave it a go today.
