Kristoff

Boonen has only scored 9 bonus seconds while Kristoff today gained 10 seconds, so Kristoff will take the leader jersey.

Live TV coverage with 3 km to go!! Beats a kick in the head I guess :).

Guardini keeps knocking, hopefully soon he'll actually win! Sagan lurking about but never looking like a winner.

Kristiff nice win and the Gold jersey!

Kittel

What is wrong with Marcel Kittel since two day in a row he can not follow the front group, it doesn't seems like the Marcel Kittel from the last couple of years.

He's not very good at this kind of racing and I think it's the first time he's riding Qatar.

It seems to me exactly like the Kittel of the last two years. How often has he made it into a select front group of 20-30 riders?

Kittel

He really needs to step up he's game, Cavendish just won Tour of Dubai and Kittel just seems like a shadow of himself.

Looks like Sagan still hasn't found his finish from 11-12.

Sagan is never very good in his first race of the season. In 2012 he was beaten by Adam Blythe in a sprint...

I think he'll be fine. He'd probably have won three stages in the Tour of Dubai the way they wer raced. Tour of Qatar is completely different - look at the lead group today; it is like what you'd see in Paris Roubaix or Flanders.

TT is only 10km though - so the gaps will only be small. Some of the sprinters (Boonen / Sagan / Kristoff) could make up any difference lost on the TT in time bonuses.

Qatar never lets down :)

(Well, except for the coverage today)

Kristoff also never let's down after hard racing! He's really become one of the more likable sprinters for me.

Amazingly, you can still get odds of about 12/1 on him winning Milan-San Remo again this year. He should be the strong favourite imo.

I am quite happy with Sagan loosing the sprints here. :) Let them think you do not have it anymore and wait for M-SR. I am sure Riis knows how to make him winning big ones.
