He is a solid TT who developed into a pretty decent flats/classics domestique. A bit underrated as a domestique I believe but he's definitely a great addition for both Sagan and Contador.

Very valuable to Sax when he won G-W.

Terpstra was killing it today. He looked so solid in the six day races.
47 kph is pretty fast on a road bike, no aero bars, no disc wheels.

Surprised by Bodnar. I never knew much of him. Where is he good at? Seems to do fine in short TT's.

It's not a surprise. He won TT at three days De Panne last year. Moreover he was TT chmpion of Poland twice, beating Kwiatkowski each time and lost tittle last year to Michał by only 20 seconds. He was 9th at world championships TT too

I think they probably meant sticking it to them so they are in trouble at the side of the road (the gutter) I thought it was a Scottish word but think not after Googling..

That's exactly what it is as Netserk's link shows. Its a phrase that only applies in strong crosswinds where echelons can defeat your rivals if they are not attentive.

Boonen and co have been throwing it in the gutter in this race for years.

Did you see his interview with Graham Nortan? It was fairly hilarious. (and that's from someone who doesn't really like him) Even my girlfriend liked it.
