Vuelta, are you listening?

Vuelta did the 'descend the road that will be climbed later' thing in 2010, with Bola del Mundo. They climbed Navacerrada from La Granja, descended to Navacerrada, did a loop, then climbed the Navacerrada side of the climb before finishing off with the Bola del Mundo extension.

They did it again last year climbing Cotos instead of Navacerrada from La Granja.

It's not like they'll have to control the race... and with just 4 regular road stages, there's no need for an outright leader.

On Col de la Croix one of them will have to take time for the TT, so the better climber should be leader.

But they have 6 other riders for that. Costa might well do a top-3 on the prologue, and they'll save him.

I hope Goss can win stage 1.

Who can win the Prologue?

I will hesitantly say Gesink for the overall but Sky also look good.

Sort of like Radioshack's lineup (one needs to be excluded):

BENNETT George
KISERLOVSKI Robert
MACHADO Tiago
NIZZOLO Giacomo
OLIVEIRA Nelson
RAST Gregory
ROHREGGER Thomas
SERGENT Jesse
BAKELANTS Jan

but who will they ride for?

Robert "the traitor" Kiserlovski is my guess, but Machado will probably win everything :p:eek:

Jesus, Eurosport needs to sort out their priorities. No Romandie - but Tour of Turkey?

They skipped half of the great races in the first months as well. Are they losing tv rights?

They've gained since last year since they've showed the same races plus Euskal Herriko Itzulia, E3 Harelbeke and Roma Maxima. None of the suisse races was on Eurosport last year either and Tour of Turkey is probably paying for airtime.

Sky are showing Romandie, so ES are not.
