Looks like Novak secured third overall. Nice achievement. Likely Mohorič will try to win tomorrow. Pogi and Majka look in good shape. Too bad nobody was there to at least challenge Majka a bit. To see his limit. But lets assume he is in great shape.

I think there may be no serious test for Pog in France in a few weeks, either. All the other potential contenders seem to be hobbled by sickness, injury, age, and less-than-superhuman legs.

Majka looked a bit concerning in stage 3 when Pogacar almost had to drop him to keep away from the chasing groups. In the Tour there’s no way he would’ve been able to hang with the leaders.

I laugh, but Majka has been great and is being rewarded properly. He looks very strong to help Pogi in the mountains at the TDF.

I guess Tour will tell. Looks like both JV and UAE did a good job. In regards to preparations.

Congrats to Majka on another victory! He set a brutal pace on the steeper part of the final climb with Pogacar on his wheel. In the second part of the climb Rafał was looking tired and the pair slowed down. OTOH Pogi looked effortless there, he seemed to have another gear in him in last few km. They slowed down even more in the last km and finished together in a similar fashion to JV at Dauphine. Le Patron handed the stage to his teammate this time. Today he was looking very strong though, I think he's ready.

Pogacar was so easy after the stage. It looked like a sprint stage for him

Decent showing by Tolio today. Last year he won the Piccola Sanremo and the Strade Bianche di Romagna in the u23 ranks, the later after a +50km solo ride. He also finished 11th at the u23 Giro, but in the u23 ranks he had better results as a one day racer.
