Seeing Ganna always draws to mind that Ian Holloway quote about Cristiano Ronaldo

Italy timed that terribly, Milan with a random monster turn halfway through and Consonni had a poor changeover. Ganna didn't look like he was giving it everything though. Let's see.

My instinct is they have something left, and it's not like being up against the Aussies rather than the Danes or Brits makes much difference.

Boardman has a bit of knowledge but it's all a bit safe, they should draft Takeshi's Castle Craig Charles from back in his drug addict years, give him a bottle of vodka and stick him on the red button comms.

Sure New Zealand beat Germany in the Women Team Sprint. Where were they in the last years? Never had a good result. Very strange.

I always get really nervous with the start in this event, the gap that opens makes it look like the front rider is going way too fast like Roglic when he dropped everyone in that Paris Nice ttt.
