Shame he feels like that, because it really is a wonderful result. The crash did definitely take away the chance for the gold, but to be in that position anyway was remarkable.

Dutch have been DSQ'd from the Madison and fined 1000CHF for improper conduct (blow with the helmet).

cant believe it took that long to do it for such an obvious foul, or that TeamGB didnt raise it during the race.

Kopecky trained a lot on the Scratch because it doesn't suit her, never had a good result but now she was boxed in the last 5 laps. The slower speed wasn't good for her. But good for the race, she'll have an attacking mindset.

Letizia 10th. Didn't looked like her best self in the last laps. Hope she can get closer untill the points race.

Valente is just bossing this, although it became a tougher rider, because they didn't allow her to get a lap. However it also looked like Pikulik, Manly and her were in energy saving mode during the last laps.

Kopecky saved her chances with a 6th place.

Paternoster wanted to win the sprint but started a lap too early, she let go in the last lap. Haven't seen her so bad this year in the Omnium. Normally she's really good in the Elimination, we'll see there if it's the legs or tactics that got her only in 15th.

Valente looks so strong and in control.
